User Guide to Newslink: Home

1. Go to https://ite-sg.libguides.com/databases

2. Click on Newslink.

3. Login with your email address and password.

You can access all publications by SPH Media. These include:

• Berita Harian
• The Business Times
• The New Paper
• The Straits Times
• Lianhe Wanbao
• Lianhe Zaobao
• Tamil Murasu
• Think China
• Asian Insider
• Asia Report
• Berita Minggu
• Comma
• Friday Weekly
• My Paper
• WoBao
• The New Paper
• Shin Min Daily News
• The SME Magazine
• STEP
• TABLA
• Thumbs Up Junior
• Thumbs Up

Note that the subscription does not cover SPH magazines such as Her World, Home & Decor, and Female. Asia News Network is also not in our subscription.

1. Select a date range of articles you are interested in. Note that you can only search for articles in two-year range at any one time in Basic Search. For longer time range, check out Advanced Search.

2. Type in the keywords.

4. Select the type of articles -- eg: PDF, HTML article format.

5. Click on "Search".

6. In the results page, you can sort the results by descending or ascending dates or by relevance:

7. Choose the articles you are interested in. Do take note what the symbols mean:

If you are keen to explore the Advanced Search, click here:

In Advanced Search, you will be able to look for articles in specific publications. This will refine your search results right from the outset.

Note: Only in Advanced Search can you search for a date range of >2 years.

• For Weekend papers - available in Newslink 3 days later
• For Monday and Tuesday - available in Newslink 2 days later
• Wednesday-Friday - available in Newslink 1 day later

Berita Harian/ Berita Minggu

• For Weekend papers - available in Newslink 3 days later

• For Wednesday - Friday - available in Newslink 2 days later

Lianhe Zaobao/ Shin Min
