User Guide to O'Reilly for Higher Education: Topics and Learning

Browsing by Topics

O'Reilly for Higher Education also lets you browse by topics.

1. Check out the "Topics" tab at the top of the screen:

2. For example, when Business > Agile is clicked, books related to the topic are displayed:

3. You can follow the topic so that when you visit other topics, the "Agile" bookmark is always available until you unfollow.

 

Start Learning

If you were to explore the "Start Learning" tab, you will see a curated list of resources from O'Reilly, such as Answers, Courses, and Books.

Answers are particularly useful for quick Q&As. For example, a query on bootstrap leads you directly to a paragraph to help you along:

In Courses, you will be asked to customise your interest in a topic based on your role or skillset:

Select the areas you are interested in:

Select the course:

And you will be starting on a journey of learning!

In Books, you will be able to select books related to your topical selection:

Do note that there are plenty of formats available:
